The Stevenson Monterey Motel

Stayed at stevenson monterey motel and loved the location. It's a short walk to downtown. It has free parking, a major plus. The rooms were spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the lobby area.

Fantastic and ideal location for our visit to My Museum not too far from the hotel.

The location of the hotel was peaceful and easy - relatively close to Old Fisherman's Wharf. Btw, went to city center, located relatively close to the property. The booked room was brand-new with a large bathroom. Plenty of food for breakfast including eggs, toast and pancakes.

Good service, delightful views of the bay from my queen room. Everyone was particularly helpful and attentive. The location was excellent and wonderful - just a walk down to everywhere I wanted to go.

The breakfast was welcoming and substantial. Also the staff at desk in the morning was cheerful and helpful. Room had everything and was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Definately a good value for money hotel to use as a base to explore Monterey and surrounding area.

The room I booked was well-kept and beautifully decorated with comfy bathroom. Toast, pancakes and hardboiled eggs provided in the morning. This hotel was set in a central area next to restaurants, coffee shops and Trader Joes, the main sights and the center of Monterey with very nice and helpfull staff.

Loved the spacious room and the pool area was super relaxing! The location is fantastic, just a stroll to restaurants and the pier.

Felt really welcomed, no complaint.

It was close to an event in which Mary wanted to participate. Everything worked. It was your quintessential no frills businesslike chain motel.

I loved the spot since it's just a few steps from the Wild Plum cafe and only a 10-minute stroll to Fisherman's Wharf, making it super easy to grab a bite and explore local sights during my weekend getaway.

Nice staff, the hotel was almost next to the bus station where you can get buses to most places around Monterey. Only a short walk to Fishermans Wharf. Good value for money.

Close to the road so you can hear loud cars or motorbikes passing by every now and again.

It was clean ad close to the Monterey Jazz festival.

Clean, comfortable, cute atmosphere.

My booking is a queen bed but it is a full bed. I asked but the manager just said: we are all equipped with queen bed. It is a rip off !!! I will not stay here anymore. I will report to AAA as a member. It smelled once in a while !!! The carpet needs cleaning !!!

Good location

House keeping at this facility needs to be up-graded. They do not seem to have been trained properly on what to look for in preparing a room for occupancy.
